Founded in 2010, the Ottawa chapter provides a platform for young professionals in Finance, Accounting, Law, and Economics to network, educate themselves and develop career opportunities. The Ottawa Chapter is unique in the sense that its membership is comprised of young professionals from both the private and public sectors, members can expect an assortment of speaker, educational and social events throughout the year.

Pete is a Cannabis Industry Recruiter with PotPeople.co, an web-based recruitment company specializing in the emerging Canadian cannabis industry. He received a Bachelor of Commerce, while majoring in finance, from the Telfer School of Management and previously ran a financial services business as a Certified Financial Planner.
Treasurer - Mike Moher, CPA, CA
Mike is a Manager at Welch LLP and has over 8 years’ experience assisting clients with their accounting, taxation, and internal financial control needs. Mike has served clients in several sectors, including: owner managed (real estate / retail / professional corporations); high-tech (publicly traded and start-ups); federal government, education, charity, and not-for-profit. Mike received a Bachelor of Commerce, while majoring in accounting, from the Telfer School of Management and is a Chartered Professional Accountant.
Director of Communications, Kasia Lech
Kasia is currently the Digital Marketing Manger for CARE Canada. CARE is an international humanitarian organization and is a global leader within a worldwide movement dedicated to ending poverty. Her specialities include: website development, online advertising, search engine optimization and social media.
Director of Events, Tasha Taylor
Tasha is the Assistant Chief of Staff to the Deputy Minister of Finance Canada. In this role she acts as a resource person and representative for the Department of Finance for negotiations and communications with the office of the Minister of Finance, senior officials of the Department, the Privy Council Office , the Prime Minister's Office and other stakeholders. Her previous experience at Finance as an economist in the Capital Markets group entailed analyzing developments in both domestic and international financial markets that could affect Canada's markets or financial institutions. Prior to joining the Department Tasha worked as a consultant and holds a Bachelor's degree in Finance and a Master's degree in Public Policy.
