Women Initiative - Montreal

We are dynamic young women from diverse business backgrounds. We are interested in becoming leaders in our respective fields and in our community and we believe that the support of a strong network is at the foundation of professional success.
Along with our partner, Young Canadians in Finance, we help our members to reach their professional goals by providing them with a strong networking platform and a structured mentoring program.

Our mission
Establish a platform that allows business women to increase collaboration, share ideas, experiences and accomplishments, and promote and enhance career development. We believe that solidarity amongst women in the business world is a key element to women’s development and collective advancement.

The idea behind YCIF - WI is simple: as many corporations do not have the female representation that would allow them to develop internal women’s associations, many young professionals in various fields of the business world are missing out on key networking opportunities and access to mentors. We therefore need to create our own structure, which is in tune with young women’s interests.

Our Platform
We offer young female professionals networking opportunities through social and cultural events, workshops and conferences that attract inspirational role models.
Target members are women from the business community between the ages of 25 and 35.
