Thereafter, he served for three years as the Senior Managing Director of Media Lending at Bank of Montreal.  Before founding Aver Media, Mr. Sherman was a co-founder of both Grosvenor Park Partnership and Sentinel Hill Alliance Atlantis Ventures Corporation, which at the time were Canadian and U.K. industry leaders in providing structured financing to the international filmed entertainment community.   Throughout his career in media finance, Mr. Sherman has been involved in financing upwards of 500 different film and television projects representing in excess of $5 billion of capital.   Mr. Sherman began his career practicing commercial law in Toronto with Blake, Cassels and Grayden, after graduating from Osgoode Hall Law School (LLB) and University of Southern California (BA).

Vince Commisso is President & CEO of 9 Story Media Group, one of the industry’s leading creators, producers and distributors of top quality-content for young audiences around the world. In 2002, he co-founded 9 Story Entertainment, an animation company that would use leading-edge technologies to develop and produce compelling animated children’s content with international appeal. Since earning an Emmy® Award on the company’s very first show, Peep and the Big Wide World, the 9 Story family of companies has gone on to earn countless additional awards, including fourteen Emmy® Awards and two Oscar nominations.
