Young Canadians in Finance cordially invites you to attend a cocktail reception at the Fox and Feather featuring a keynote address by Mr. Kevin Page – Parliamentary Budget Officer.  Mr. Page will discuss his experience as Canada’s first Parliamentary Budget Officer.  This is a unique opportunity to meet Mr. Page and ask him questions in an informal setting. This is also a chance to meet fellow young professionals in Ottawa from the private, public and political sectors working in areas related to finance, economics, law and accounting.

The event will take place at The Fox and Feather Pub, which is located at 283 Elgin Street, Ottawa. The cocktail reception will provide one drink per person and hors d’oeuvres.

About Mr. Kevin Page

Kevin Page was appointed Canada's first Parliamentary Budget Officer on March 25, 2008. Mr. Page has 27 years of experience in the federal public service. He has worked extensively in the economic and fiscal community at the three main central agencies, including Finance Canada, the Treasury Board Secretariat and the Privy Council Office. He has also worked for other departments including Fisheries and Oceans, Agriculture and Agri-Foods Canada and Human Resources and Social Development Canada.

Mr. Page has a Master’s Degree in Economics from Queen's University and an Honour's BA in Economics from Lakehead and Simon Fraser Universities.
