Young Canadians in Finance Montréal is pleased to invite you to this breakfast conference featuring Normand Legault, Sr. Private Equity Advisor at CPPIB.

Mr. Legault will share his experience in private equity investments within the entertainment and professional sports industries.

Normand Legault has been involved with international sports organizations for several decades, including the Formula One Grand Prix of Canada, which he promoted for twenty years, the organizing committee of the 2003 World Junior Athletics Championships in Sherbrooke, 2005 Montreal Water Sports Championships, and Montreal Alouettes. Normand Legault is familiar with the workings and business models of professional sport, which has made him a privileged witness to the evolution of the sports entertainment industry in recent decades, where the emergence of new technologies in content video had a decisive impact on the valuation of organizations.

Moreover, M. Legault is a director of Cogeco, Global Logic (San Jose, CA), Dorna Sports (Madrid, ES), and Chairman of the Board of Aéroports de Montréal (ADM). In addition to being a consultant to CPPIB, he is a member of its private equity investment committee. He is also particularly involved in transactions related to companies in the field of entertainment and professional sports.
