Young Canadians in Finance, in partnership with FASKEN, are proud to invite you to our Breakfast Series featuring women in finance: "Women Lead". We will have the pleasure of welcoming Katie Fasken, Founder and Managing Partner, August Advisors. 

Our goal is to spark open and candid discussions between pioneering women in finance and young leaders of tomorrow. "Women Lead" aims to promote the transfer of knowledge and experience from one generation to the next, as well as stimulate discussions on opportunities in finance while celebrating and featuring each speaker invited to these meetings.

We hope to see you there! *Note that this event is designed for all, not only those who identify as female.

As Founder and Managing Partner of August Advisors, Katie recognized the need to connect exceptional private investment managers with Canadian institutional capital. Prior to launching August Advisors, Katie was Managing Director, Co-Head Capital Raising at a $15bn private equity firm, where she was directly responsible for building out the team and raising institutional capital globally, with direct coverage of Canadian institutional capital. She began her career in Investment Banking and Institutional Equity Sales at CIBC, one of Canada’s largest banks. She is a graduate of the Richard Ivey School of Business at Western University, where she earned an Honours in Business Administration.
